When you’re in your jammies and your interview shows up a week early, things can get very interesting very quickly.
After a brief moment of panic, I remember that although the studio is not available, my hand held recorder is! Interview on!
Twenty minutes later, Schadenfreude shows up at my doorstep to pick me up. For a brief moment, I think about all the warnings that I usually to give to everyone and how I’m about to break several of them. But I’ve met Schadenfreude several times, and although we’re not close, I’m sure she won’t hurt me. Well pretty sure. 😉
I get in her vehicle and we’re off to Niawanda Park for fun, girl frolic, and interviewing. The resulting interview can be heard on Think Twice Radio.

An interesting article in the New Yorker online addresses adult colouring books and play. While the article is vanilla oriented, it demonstrates what kinksters have known all along – play is good for you!
If needed, this article can provide “vanilla cred” when explaining what it is that you do to someone outside of your circle.
There are also some camps and programs listed of which Littles may enjoy taking advantage.

The amazing sound of the Rochester’s Gay Men’s Chours echos behind me as I type. I just finished an interview with Cory and Cindy of the Cleveland Kink Shop. They’ve just held a workshop on polyamory and intimacy. They skillfully addressed audience questions on topics such as ‘how to tell the children’ and ‘reserving special things for just the primary couple’.

The Bondage Diaries: This isn’t Fifty Shades of Grey. This is Buffalo’s BDSM Scene
With the 50 Shades of Grey hype all over the media, a reporter came visiting. I gave her an interview, so did a few others. I also interviewed her, which will be on my podcast next week.
Red. It’s not just a safe word for subs/bottoms. Sometimes Doms/Tops need to opt out mid-scene as well. Being human, there are bound to be things that suprise, unnerve, or unsettle Doms/Tops. When that happens, the safe thing to do is Red out. Being safe is being responsible. And responsibility is a big part of what being a Dom/Top is about.
In the past, I have personally Reded out on a submissive who smelled of high sugar. Those of you who grew up with a diabetic in your family will know this sweet citrusy smell very well. Turns out his sugar was well over 200.
If my submissive suddenly started spouting racial slurs mid-scene, I would Red out immediately. While racial slurs are a fetish for some people, they are a complete turn off for me. Growing up biracial, they are unwelcome and likely to enrage me. Safest to stop.
